Macrodantin (NITROFURANTOIN-100 mg)
Macrodantin is helpful in treating UTIs because large amounts of it pass into the urine. It interferes with the metabolism of carbohydrates, or sugars, in the infecting bacteria. It may also interfere with the formation of the bacterial cell wall.
